Persephone Dress
The Persephone Dress is a princess length midi dress and features a low u-shaped neckline, above the elbow length balloon sleeves with light gathers at shoulder seams for a fuller look and finished with delicate banded hem. The fitted bodice has curved princess seams and light Basque v-waistline. Fully functional buttons down the front. Hidden side pockets. Back waistline is straight, back neckline is higher wide scoop neckline.
Inspiration: The Persephone features a Basque waist, popularized in clothing during the Victorian period, particularly in the late 19th century. Inspiration was also taken from one of our favorite heritage brands, Laura Ashley, particularly their silhouettes from the 1980s when Victorian inspired details were most prominent in women's fashion.

Sizing: All measurements are set, this dress does not feature any elastic. Purchase the size based on your band/chest measurement. If larger than a C cup and in between band sizes, we recommend sizing up and getting the Persephone Dress tailored to custom fit your body.
