February Mood Board

Lately I have been feeling like the online world has become so homogenous and specifically social media I just do not at all feel inspired to post, share, or engage. Perhaps it's the really glum weather in my little corner of the world (nothing but deep grey skies, overcast, cold, windy, and on and off raining), but I find that inspiration is really lacking. Perhaps it is because I have been so cooped up lately and just trying to keep myself warm and bundled up. I long to wear my pretty garments, but they are not conducive for this weather. As someone who is very affected by the environment they are in, prolonged days of gloom where everything feels like it's lacking color and texture is really dampening my spirits.
To inspire my own self, I created a mood board and it's fairly telling that the image right in the center is a woman that looks, well, a little tired I suppose? Not defeated, perhaps contemplative, anyhow, not sure how to describe it at the moment other than I relate to it and sometimes such is such and we don't really need to spend so much time diving into things. Sometimes you're just in a state of misty grey blue and then one day the clouds part, the skies clear, and the sun shines again and fruit is borne from your labors.
Maybe that's the meaning behind this mood board. The small chambray linen square on the bottom corner is fabric I am working with for Summer and I am absolutely smitten. I have only created one design for it, but I am tempted to make more!
