Atèlette Among Friends

Among Friends is our small, invitation-only circle of women who genuinely wear, love and share Atèlette. It grew from something very simple: the joy of seeing my own friends reach for Atèlette again and again—at home, on holiday, out to dinner, or simply moving through their everyday lives—and proudly sharing the clothes with their own friends. We hope the pieces we gift you become part of your wardrobe in much the same way. In exchange, we ask that you share Atèlette with your community genuinely, in your own voice and in a way that feels natural to you.

"Ate Lette." In Cebuano, Ate (AH-tee) means older sister. Lette was my childhood nickname in the Philippines.

How to be a friend...

1. A little hello— When your Atèlette parcel arrives, we'd love for you to share a casual Story letting your community know your piece has arrived and tag @studio_atelette. This doesn't need to be a formal unboxing. Open your parcel, show the dress hanging in your room, try it on for the first time—whatever feels natural to you. We simply love that little moment of anticipation before you share the finished content.

TLDR: Please share a story within one week of receiving your gift and tag @studio_atelette

2. How You'd Wear It— For each gifted piece, we ask for one dedicated Reel or carousel feed post featuring the garment. We don't require single-image static posts because we'd much rather see the piece in movement, from different angles, and as part of your life. If multiple pieces are gifted as a single look, we'll agree beforehand whether they can be featured together. Please tag @studio_atelette and Atèlette in the content so we're able to find and share your post.

3. Tell Your Friends Why—Rather than providing a scripted caption, we'd like the words to be yours. Tell your friends what you genuinely enjoy about Atèlette, why the piece speaks to you, how you're wearing it, or why you think they might enjoy discovering our little label too. There are no required talking points. We would much rather hear your own experience than have you sound like an advertisement.

4. Share A Little Something—You'll receive a personal Among Friends code to share with your community—for example, HANNAH15. Your friends can use your code to receive 15% off their Atèlette purchase. For every qualifying order placed using your code, you'll receive $15 in Atèlette store credit as our thank you for introducing someone new to us. Your credit can accumulate and be put toward another Atèlette piece you've had your eye on. You may promote your code as many times as you would like.

5. Take your time, but not too much— We ask that your main Reel or carousel be shared within 30 days of receiving your gifted piece, unless we've arranged another date together beforehand. If you're gifted more than one piece, each piece should receive its own agreed-upon content within that timeframe unless we've specifically planned for the pieces to be photographed or filmed together. We know life happens. If you need more time, simply let us know.

TLDR: Post your reel/carousel within 30 days of receiving your gift

6. Made to Be Kept— Perhaps the most important part of Among Friends is that the clothing we send you is truly yours. Atèlette makes clothes meant to be inhabited—to be worn often, cared for and made part of your life. We gift pieces to our Friends because we hope you'll genuinely want to keep wearing them long after you've shared them with your community. For that reason, we ask that gifted Atèlette pieces not be resold for a minimum of one year after receiving them. If a piece ultimately isn't right for you, we'd much rather you speak with us. We can find a thoughtful solution together rather than having a gifted garment immediately enter the resale market. Repeated or intentional resale of gifted pieces would mean we're no longer a good fit for one another and would end participation in Among Friends.

TLDR: Please do no resell your gifted item for at least 1 year.

One last note...

Please clearly disclose when an Atèlette piece has been gifted to you and when you may receive store credit through your personal code, in accordance with the advertising and disclosure requirements where you live. Above everything, we want Among Friends to feel like what its name suggests: women discovering Atèlette through women whose taste and voices they already trust. We're so happy to have you among friends.
